UK University League Table 2023
Are you looking for the best universities in the UK? The United Kingdom is the home of the top universities in the UK. Recently The Times newspaper published it’s Good University Guide 2023, ranking all UK universities based on different factors.
Oxford University beats the University of St Andrews and the University of Cambridge to reclaim the Good University Guide 2023 top spot after twelve years. The university, renowned for its intimate style of teaching in which undergraduates have tutorials with a don and up to two other students, had by far the lowest student-to-staff ratio of any UK university, with 10.5 students to every member of staff. Unlike many institutions, which have expanded hugely, Oxford has declined to enrol more undergraduates yearly.
The academic league table comprises eight indicators, including student satisfaction with teaching quality and their broader student experience, research quality, graduate prospects, entrance qualifications held by new students, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, and degree completion rates.
